I received my Bachelor Of Arts Degree for the University of California, Davis and then completed my Master of Science with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, San Francisco.  I am currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.

I am also an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).Throughout my career as a therapist I have worked with individuals, couples and families.  I have had the pleasure to help individuals work to find meaning and success in their lives as well as help struggling couples find their way back to the love they once shared with each other.  My methods include creating a trusting and safe space for people to begin the process of healing so that they can feel better and more connected to themselves and their lives.

Previously, I worked as a Clinical Supervisor for PUC Schools.  There I supervised and train new therapists to work with children, adolescents and their families.  Previously I worked at Milken Community High School as a school counselor.  I also have experience working with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder from my previous tenure at the Help Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to working with autistic and emotionally challenged individuals.  There I worked with children and their families to teach them new methods of coping with issues that arise from these disorders.

I continue to have the utmost respect for my profession and continue to believe that therapy can have a profound impact and can help change lives.  As part of my committment to being a qualified therapist, I regularly attend continuing education conferences so that I can be informed of the latest research as well as any new approaches to counseling.
